Is there an age limit for K-POP auditions?
Age requirements differ from audition to audition. Check the eligibility section of the call on each audition's page.
If you are not sure whether you qualify, ask the contact listed in the call before you apply.
Can I apply if I live in Japan?
Yes. LOPI lists auditions held at venues in Japan, such as Tokyo and Osaka, and people living in Japan can apply.
Auditions take place at the venue, so check that you can get there on the day before you apply.
Does it cost anything to take part in an audition?
Applying through LOPI is free, and so is the app.
Travel to the venue and similar costs are your own.
What is the difference between remote and on-site judging?
Either way, you go to the venue and perform there. What differs is how the judges take part.
With remote judging, the agency's judges join in real time from another location. With on-site judging, they come to the venue and assess you in person.
What do I need to prepare to apply?
Register your profile and a self-introduction video in the LOPI app. Once they are saved, you can apply to other auditions with the same profile.
On the day, you check in at the venue with a QR code. What to bring, and any set songs, differ by audition, so read the call.
When and how will I hear the result?
When and how results are announced differs by audition. Check the call for each audition.
Can I apply to several auditions at once?
Yes. In the LOPI app you can apply to several auditions and keep track of all of them in one place.

When is a parent or guardian's consent needed?
If you are under 18, you may need a parent or guardian's consent. The rules differ by audition, so read the call and talk it over with your parent or guardian before you apply.
